Soooo... the older we get the wiser (hopefully). We learn from our mistakes. We learn to spot Bu***hit a mile away. Yet so many people put all that aside and still fall for the same tricks over and over again. Through relationships we learn what we are really looking for in a relationship- THE LIST. It gets editted alot, which is fine because of what I mentioned before, live learn blah blah. Now when someone younger is falling into a trap- do you say something to that friend? You need to get to know the person in order to know if you want to spend the rest of your life with them. Compare priorities and values and make compromises in places that you can. The only answer to situations like this is...
TIME! You need time to get to know the real person inside. People lie, cheat and steal and you can only tell the difference in time. Bring them around people that know them best and compare "personalities".
Now again, do you intervene or stand by and watch what will happen? Also depends how well you know the person. We all need to live and learn from our mistakes but wounds like that may last forever. I would mention to friends to be careful but let them make their own mistakes and be there if they need an ear or a shoulder.
Soooo... these days people go through all of the above publically on.. Yes we mention it again: MySpace, Facebook and Twitter. Ohh dear- Please keep this shit public because many people like myself, keep track of this and than later say "I knew that would happen" and laugh. Not at that misfortune but because it had happened to me or someone I know. Personally I think that some relationships need to get to know each other before they let the world know. Something should remain public. That's another topic for another.
Please know the difference between love and lust or while you find out, keep it to yourself. Dont be an idiot and pay for your mistake publically.
So that's my 2 cents...
Dont get offended this is just my opinion.
